background
80% of teenagers are not active enough. According to the WHO, wealth factors are responsible for 70% of all diseases.
diet/obesity
lack of exercise
Smoking/Alcohol/Drugs
„We’ve had an electronic revolution that has obviously changed the movement patterns of young people – encouraging them to sit more, be less active, drive more, walk less!“
https://snowfest.eu/who-studie-2018
„Winter sports can prevent illness and crime. They ensure the quality of life and promote health – at any age.“
These are no more dangerous than many other sports.
See SUVA statistics 2018 – number of injuries per million hours of exercise:
Goal
Visibility, creation and empowerment of new active role models that have a positive influence on decisions of young adults and society to make them more active for a positive future and better health through winter sports.
We, at young competitive sports in Tyrol, see this project as very helpful for the winter sports associations in Tyrol and their recruitment of young people. Winning over talented children and young people for the various sports is very important to us, so that we can continue to have successful sporting flagships in Tyrol in the future, especially in winter sports. This event would also give fringe sports a stage. In this way, children and their parents can be won over to organized sports in Innsbruck and Tyrol.
Benjamin Lachmann (Diploma Sports Science)
We don’t stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing.

Workshops & Charities
We want to convey social values through sport and promote sporting and cultural sustainability for nature, the environment and society.
In cooperation with the city of Innsbruck, the winter sports clubs and the local ski areas are offered a presentation platform in our workshop village. By choosing the time of the event, we give the clubs the opportunity to get people excited about their sport before the Christmas holidays.
Disadvantaged children and young people are supported with snowboard and ski courses with competitions, donations and part of the income (catering).
