Snowfest The Hague delivers the ultimate winter sports experience for visitors of all ages. As the grand finale of the 2026 Rock A Rail Tour, the event combines world-class snowboard and freeski action with a vibrant Snowfest Village, offering plenty of opportunities to experience and discover the excitement of winter sports.
From sledding and first turns on skis or a snowboard to interactive activities and family-friendly entertainment, there’s something for everyone. Kids Day on Sunday is dedicated entirely to young snow enthusiasts, giving children the chance to try winter sports in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment while discovering the magic of snow for the very first time.
The Hague holds a special place in the history of Rock A Rail. It was here that the event began as a local rail jam back in 2011 before growing into one of Europe’s most renowned urban snowboard and freeski street-style competitions. Returning to where it all started makes the final stop of the tour even more meaningful.
Admission is free throughout the entire weekend.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred this morning in The Hague, where an explosion has resulted in devastating consequences. Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victims, the missing, their loved ones and all those affected.
In light of this tragedy, we have carefully evaluated the situation and, after consultation with the relevant authorities, have decided to proceed with the Snowfest The Hague as planned, including the highly anticipated Rock A Rail snowboard finals. We hope that the event can offer a moment of togetherness and positivity during a difficult time.

Rock A Rail The Hague
Snowfest The Hague brings a touch of winter magic to our city. The absolute highlight of the festival are the spectacular finals of the European Rock A Rail Tour. The freestyle skiing finals are scheduled for Friday evening, followed by the snowboarding finals on Saturday evening. Both women and men will be in action on both days. This year, the event is being further expanded with a large covered area and the World Rookie Tour on Sunday: an international youth competition that serves as a springboard for new talent.
